Carden Academy of Huntington Beach enhances the educational experience for its students with international world travel to such magnificent and fascinating destinations as France, China, Australia and Italy.

And the students get to share the 10- to 12-day experiences abroad with their parents and siblings.

"Travel is a great diversion from the classroom and offers a unique and memorable learning experience," says Carol Van Asten, director of Carden Academy of HB. "Our philosophy is complementing the classroom experience by incorporating elements of curriculum into world travel."

Carden HB students and parents traveled to China in 2008 and experienced the breathtaking Great Wall, The Forbidden City, Terra Cotta Soldiers, Shanghai and Hong Kong. This year, the destination was France, where students and parents experienced the Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum, Roman Ruins in Provence, St. Paul de Vence as well as the stunning architecture and culture of Paris, Nice and Avignon . Next year, Carden HB students and parents will travel to Australia.
