TOASTING THE ELDERLY:

A celebration of grandparents at Carden Academy in Huntington Beach, Calif., brought pre-kindergarden student Matthew Pugh, his mother Anne Pugh and grandmother Nguyet Tran to the campus.
"I am always very excited to come to Grandparents Day at Carden Academy," Tran says. "The environment at this school is so wonderful. My grandson Matthew has excelled here. He already reads - and he is in pre-school. Carden has provided Mathew with not only a wonderful educational foundation, but the love and encouragement here is amazin. We're so very very happy that we found this school."
Carden Academy has two campuses - Huntington Beach (at 721 E. Utica Avenue) and Fountain Valley (at 10460 Slater Avenue).
