Morning: 8:00-12:00
Camp Carden morning academics will focus on the rudiments of education. It is our goal that the students retain the information that they have learned throughout the school year. Students will also be exposed to curriculum that will be taught in the next grade level. Children will be actively involved in art, performing arts and science projects as a way to reinforce core subjects.

Future 4th to 6th Grades
Morning 8:00-12:00
The upper elementary program will also focus on the basics. Students will be exposed to core literature in alignment with CA State Standards. Focus will also include math, composition, science and art. The summer program is meant to help students retain the information they have learned over the school year, and prepare them for the up-coming grade. Summer at Camp Carden is education, in a relaxed, hands-on manner.

Future 7th to 8th Grades
Morning: 8:00-12:00
7th and 8th grade students will be involved in morning academics from 8:00am to 12:00pm, Monday–Thursday. On Friday, they will have the opportunity to join the rest of Camp Carden on our Fantastic Friday Field Trips. In order to recognize the hard work of these students, credits and grades will be given for the summer program. The 7th and 8th grade report card will reflect a five “quarter” school year. This will result in a 204 day Academic Year.
